CAN Europe and European Environmental Bureau present their roadmap for transformation of European electricity grid

On Monday 6 May, the European coalition of environmental organisations CAN Europe and the European Environmental Bureau (EEB) published their roadmap for electricity networks, which includes recommendations for aligning the transformation of the European electricity network with the objectives of the Paris Climate Agreement.

They are trying to identify the type of infrastructure and network capacities needed to achieve a 100% renewable energy system by 2040 and guarantee energy supply...
