At the Employment, Social Policy, Health and Consumer Affairs Council (EPSCO) held in Brussels on Tuesday 7 May, the European ministers responsible for equality approved a set of conclusions entitled ‘Economic empowerment and financial independence of women as a pathway to substantive gender equality’.
