EU Matrix research platform predicts turnover of more than half of European Parliament

07/05/2024 (Agence Europe) – During the 2024-2029 legislature, more than one in two MEPs (54%) will be new to the European Parliament, according to the EU Matrix research platform in a report published at the beginning of May. According to the platform, the Portuguese delegation will see the biggest turnover, while 60% of current German MEPs will be re-elected.
